Forrest’s 1st Birthday

For my first event planning project, I was asked by Forrest's parents to organize a forest and woodland animal-themed birthday party for his first birthday. From the initial vision deck to the sourcing and finalization of vendors, I'm happy to say that we successfully delivered an exceptional birthday party experience! We integrated various elements of decorations, such as a wooden cake stand, woodland animal-themed cupcakes, and hints of green throught the event space to create a celebration that truly captured Forrest’s theme. Additionally, we were able to incorporate the Korean tradition of Doljabi into the event as well.

a Korean tradition where the child is placed in front of various items (usually 6-8). Then, the child is encouraged to grab one item from the set where each choice represents a certain future of the child with respect to his or her career or a lifestyle. Some example of the items can be a stethoscope to represent being a doctor, a gavel to represent being a lawyer, and a spatula to represent a chef.
